Carrie is a woman unafraid to ask tough questions to a generation questioning the relevancy of their lives in a modern world. As a published writer, life coach, and pastor, Carrie navigates life’s many barriers, from helping people fight and recover from addictions, to abolishing codependency.
She has written numerous articles from fashion to relationships for Glamour, Magnify, Grazia, Company, The Huffington Post, and City, and spoken about sex, love, and communication in venues throughout the UK, U.S. and churches worldwide, as well as her frequent appearances on television and radio.
Originally from London, Carrie currently resides in Redding, California, where she has completed ministry training and works at Bethel Church as a pastor.
The blog, Her Glass Slipper, has been inspiring men, women and couples alike since 2012. Once a fixture in the advertising industry, Carrie launched into writing and journalism. Fascinated by relationships and emotional health, Carrie has drawn upon her own experiences to inspire others. Since the launch of Her Glass Slipper, Carrie’s vulnerability opened up a conversation between her and other males and females who too were searching for intimacy without tying their codependent selves to a clothes rail because our boyfriend/girlfriend dumped us. She pursued normal, and traveled the globe interviewing, observing and shadowing everyone from happy marriages, to family therapists and divorce lawyers.
What is really needed for longevity in a relationship? What truly brings freedom when it comes to love? What happens when wholeheartedness actually becomes a priority in someone’s life?
Since 2012, Carrie has ventured through a myriad of relationship trials and tribulations and has candidly written of those experiences,
She has written two books, The Virgin Monologues (published by Authentic Media, UK), and Prude (published by Red Arrow Media, USA). Carrie is excited to be writing for her third book deal with Harper Collins, and it is set to launch April 2020.
